Eric Yahav - Ready For Any Outcome

Eric Yahav is an experienced and qualified medical professional who understands that when it comes to women’s health problems, you need to be ready for any outcome. There is much that can be done to save lives through preventative care measures that cannot be underestimated, and access to medical help before issues become serious is paramount. But complications can and do arise, especially when women are carrying a child, so it is important that doctors are ready for any development.

Trained as an OBGYN, Eric Yahav knows this all too well. While working for several women’s health centers across New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania, this specialist is able to provide all the preventative care, advice and help that anyone could need. This of course includes checking on the progress of pregnancies and offering advice for the health and development of both the mother and child. But not all outcomes can be predicted, and medical professionals need to be able to deal with any circumstance.
Over the years Eric Yahav has built his experience in dealing with complicated pregnancies and surgeries. This is life saving work that protects women and children in dangerous situations, and a set of skills that there really is no replacement for. But this is why people like this spend years training and developing, so that when a dangerous situation arises, they are on hand and ready to act. As for all the effort that is put into preventative measures that are so important, we must be ready for the worst, too.

Women visit their doctor during these first months are ordered to have a complete blood count done as well as a general antibody screen for HDN. These women also learn the blood type of their child. They are screened for rubella, syphilis, hepatitis B, gonorrhea, chlamydia, tuberculosis, cervical cancer, and HIV. The second trimester involves another set of tests. Doctors will often order a genetic screening for Down syndrome. They also perform either an abdominal or a transvaginal ultrasound to assess the baby, amniotic fluid, placenta, and cervix.

During the third trimester, a woman and her fetus go through another round of tests. Doctors will test women for group B streptococcus and gestational diabetes. Ovarian cancer can cause many different signs and symptoms. Some women experience these symptoms in the early stages of cancer, while others may not feel anything abnormal until the later stages. Some of the most common symptoms include bloating, pelvic or abdominal pain, issues with eating and feeling full, and urinary symptoms such as urgency and frequency. Less common symptoms include fatigue, upset stomach, back pain, menstrual changes, and abdominal swelling.

These symptoms can also be caused by benign diseases, hormonal fluctuations, or certain hormonal birth control methods. However, if a woman experiences these symptoms frequently, she should visit her gynecologists. Her doctor will perform a pelvic exam in order to look for an enlarged ovary or signs of fluid in the abdomen. Depending on the results of this exam, her doctor may order some more tests. Women who are diagnosed with ovarian cancer work with a gynecologic oncologist to treat the cancer with surgery or chemotherapy.

Doctor Eric Yahav is an experienced doctor who helps his patients screen for gynecological cancers, including ovarian cancer. He always addresses his patients’ concerns and works with his patients to keep them healthy and cancer free.
